Missing 6-year-old boy found locked inside a Louisiana man’s bathroom.

After the boy’s mother called 911 to report that her young boy was missing, authorities went on to search the whole area, including suspect David Ledet’s home.

As reported by The Times-Picayune, deputies were searching the area where the boy lives and Ledet was one of the people whom they asked about the missing boy, who was now reported as being kidnapped. The police reported that Ledet told the child’s mother that he saw her son leave in a white vehicle. Further questioning lead to more suspicious responses from Ledet, prompting for the police to search his home.

Sheriff Jack Strain, in an interview with WWI, said that they found the six-year-old boy locked in Ledet’s bathroom.

Ledet has now been charged with kidnapping and the exact location of his home is being withheld to protect the child’s identity.

A two-year-old boy from Philadelphia shoots and kills older sister, 11-year-old Jamara Stevens in their home while playing. Police believes that the gun, which the siblings were playing with, was brought inside their home by their mother’s boyfriend.

Further investigation revealed that the .357 caliber gun with an eight inch barrel was left on top of their fridge where the children later found it and began playing with it, thinking it was a toy. The mother, TIffany Goldwire, had popped to the bathroom when the shooting happened.

Investigators went ahead to outline the events as it happened. According to them, all four siblings were playing with the gun in a bedroom when the 2-year-old toddler apparently pointed the cocked handgun at Jamara and fired, hitting her straight in the arm. The bullet was said to have travelled through the schoolgirl’s chest, striking her in the heart. She was later pronounced dead at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, half-hour after she was brought there.

Police investigators are still looking into the real owner of the gun and no charges have been filed as of this time.

Similar incidents have been reported in the past. October of 2013, a babysitter in Vildor, Texas was charged after the five-year-old kid she was looking after shot himself with her gun. Two weeks before that, a two-year-old also fatally shot herself in Fayetteville, North Carolina, ending with her father facing involuntary manslaughter charges.

When April Timmons received a text message from her mother about hearing gunshots being fired inside the school where she works, she immediately called 911 only to find out later that it was all an April Fool’s joke.

Angela Timmons, who works as an employee at Virginia College in Greenville, S.C was later arrested and charged with aggravated breach of peace and disturbing a school.

Sheriff Chuck Wright of Spartanburg County tells in an interview that the joke was made in bad taste and not amusing at all. He explains further that the moment they received the information from the 911 dispatcher, deputies rushed to the scene, driving as quickly as they can with no regard for their own lives.

The deputies that rushed to the school were expecting the worst, as April Timmons told the 911 dispatcher that her mother called her and said that they are hiding in a file cabinet office because there are gunshots on campus.

Further investigation also revealed that Timmons has played the same kind of practical joke before.

Bananas could turn out to be deadly.

Just ask a terrified family from Hednesford, Staffordshire who, after realizing that a bunch of bananas sitting innocently on their kitchen window sill has become a nesting place for what allegedly is a deadly breed of Brazillian Wandering Spiders.

The father, Jamie Roberts, recounts how he noticed that the bananas had several white patches all over their skin and at first mistook them as mold. Further inspection revealed that the same white patches seem to have spread on the kitchen curtains as well as all over the window sill. Roberts called the shop where they bought the bananas and was told to bring them over to them.

Later on, Jamie and his wife, Crystal, spoke to pest control who told them to immediately leave their house. Terrified, the couple along with their two young kids Georgina and Joshua fled their house. Immediately after they left, pest control took over and began an intensive 24-hour fumigation process to ward off what’s potentially as hundreds of deadly spiders nesting at their home.

The family was only allowed to go back home after 3 days and only after pest control has confirmed that all spiders have been killed.

The incident was a big shock to the family, especially to Jamie who happens to have a fear of spiders.

Would you let a wild animal eat your manhood if it’ll make you rich in return?

That’s exactly what Chamangeni Zulu from Malawi did after a witch doctor assured him that losing body parts would make him rich. In an interview with Zulu at his hospital bed in Chipata General Hospital in Zambia, he explained that after he arrived in Chipata, he met a couple of business people who advised him that the best way to be rich is by sacrificing parts of his body.

Following their advice along with specific instructions to be naked, Zulu headed to a bush at the wee hours of the morning on March 24 where he let a hyena attack him and chew on his toes (he lost three) and his manhood as well. He recounts crawling to a nearby service road where he was picked up by two passing police officers and taken immediately to the hospital.

With his condition confirmed as stable, Zulu is still hopeful that he would still become rich amidst losing some very important parts of his body.
